So this is the 2nd to last e-mail that I'll send. All is well and bem; yesterday I talked to an American and tried to teach him in English. MAN, that was hard to just start talking to him--he was cool. He is here doing a study on public health, he is a student at Corneal University--that was cool.
Yesterday we also had a baptism, a flood in the church, and two birthdays. It was a big day. We didn't teach anyone and well, to say the least, it was a hard day. But life is good and all is well, have a great day!

wind rain
Dear family,
How are all you? Here life is good! We are nearly freezing to death with all this rain and wind but I think that I will survive. You know, it was like 70 degrees yesterday. That is not all that cold but add the wind and the rain and it is really cold!!!
Anyway, next week is Stake Conference and it should be interesting. They want to have two buses, this branch here is in a state of "emergency". I guess the gospel of Jesus Christ is always an emergency but now the members want to do something about the work. The stake president told them that they could not move in to the new chapel until they were a ward. The branch needs five more people at sacrament meeting and 10 more men baptized and holding the Melchizedek priesthood--they want to do this in two months!!! I am all about baptizing 10 men but I doubt any one of them would be ready to receive this responsibility within a few weeks of being baptized?!?!!?
It's great that the members are willing to work for it. We will too and hopefully I will meet my goal before I go home.
All really is well here, we are seeing many new miracles happen and yesterday not on purpose I sort of burned the Elders with my training in district meeting. It was supper funny because I really didn't know that they had been working in another town and not where they live. It's in there area but it is just another city. Anyway, I was reading Alma 8 to teach that we have to do it the Lords way and they were like, "oh man, that was just for us." Anyway, it was sort of funny.
Well, all is great!
Love you all with all my heart,
Sister Felt

Fam
Hey it sounds like things are crazy out there! But things are great here, we had a miraculous four baptisms last week to make up for the lack of anything for the past four weeks. I have much more to do until I will be home. But once I get home, it will be so great to relax! Just kidding, I am sure that running behind a wedding is just as hard as running behind a baptism. Well, have a great day all of you and Happy Birthday Cami!
This next month will be the best ever for all of us!
Have a great time,
Love Sister Felt

hello how are you
Hey family,
Sorry I didn't have time to write last week. I'm not sure how I ran out of time. I think I had a lot of emails and just got carried away reading. So I ended up not having time to write you a letter
or an eamil, or whatever this thing is called.
Hey, so everything is great. We will, with help form the Lord, be baptizing a family this weekend. It's way to cool! They are the kind of elect ladies that will help the ward a lot if they are let in. Arrg. I hope that the members welcome them in.
But yeah, that is about it for this week. Easter was cool. I had members give me a chocolate egg and inside it had a hello kitty that jumps rope. I gave her a name tag so now she is Sister Kitty, how cute!!!!! Then we found a member visiting our area that had served a mission at temple square. That was cool, she also gave us candy. How good is my life!?!?!
Well, I think that is about it for this week have a great day!
stay cool,
don't change,

happy birthday to me
I know you are all dying to know what Kate did for her birthday. Well, I taught a JW that we use the Bible. We went to a part of the city that has never had Sister missionaries; if their ever have been missonarisa, no one remembers so it is like we are opening a new area in this area - that was cool. We've been teaching a woman that has survived cancer and I marked her for baptism. I planed the week out. Oh, and I made a great cake!
Now you are all thinking what did she do for p-day?!?! Well, let me tell you. We went to Salvador !!!!!!! We saw the beach, the light house, the slaves, the perolina, the elivator, the old city and the new city. We saw it all and it was probably the last time I will see Sister Ilis :). She is going home, aaaah. And I hung out with the other sisters.
It was all wonderful. Now we have spent all our fun tickets and money (p.s. mom thanks for putting money in my account). Now we will go mark a woman for baptism, or that is the plan, pray for me to have a baptism this week :)
Thanks everyone,
Will H., congrats!
Will H., Will F., Jon F., and Kate F., para bems a voce, nesta data quirida, muita felizidades muitos anos de vida!
Oh and mom, how much will I earn at Brandan's Ranch?

Mom talked about Emily's family, so now I want to know were is she from what is her family like. Where does she fall in the order of the family? Any info?
I love you all, I am so happy to think that I will see all you here in a bit. Transfers should be fun hear in 2 weeks.
thanks for everything and all the prayers,

surprise transfer
Sister Felt via para San Antonio de Jesus. com o compinheira dela Siter Viana. WOW
Hey family,
That's right, if you understood what I just said, it means that I am infact leaving the hot hot city of Petrolina with my companion to be in another Tiro for one week and then that other sister is leaving and it's just Sister Viana and me together forever! How cute!
I have heard of this happening and I always thought it very funny, the idea of how people just stay companions. And they are just transferred to another city together and now its is happening to me and well, it's still funny. It's all good. It’s a huge surprise. I think I will probably end my mission in San Antonio. It’s a little branch that I think will be a ward super soon.
That is cool, I will try to visit the Easter port. Ok that was a really bad translation but it’s the fist port in BRASIL. Yes that is right, but I have to be baptizing every week to get permission for something like that. Or who knows? President loves the Sisters.
Ok, well love you all tons! Have a great day and week, probably next week I will not write because the transferences is for real next week. So I will be in Salvador!
Love your little sister felt
p.s. can I have Emily's e-mail to add her to the list of the family.

I hope that things are going well with the wedding plans don't ever forget that you have a Sister that would love to see the wedding! :) And don't forget that you never need to rush a good thing, Mom always says that if it's a good deal today it will be a good deal tomorow. :)
Well, I have already written you a letter for this week and all is well. Have a great day great and week and know that i love you all.

Hey family
Para bems, we have a brother that is engaged! How cool is that, eternity is in the works right here. Ooohh que lindo!
So this computer really stinks so this will be super short.
Life here is good we've had a month of miracles. Last week we baptized a man names Francisco he is very cool and we had some supper experiences with him. He stopped drinking in one week and he has had such a huge change of heart.
So life is good here! Love you all, have a great week!

monday
Surprise surprise. It’s Monday and I am writing a letter or an email. It's interview time so that means that today is p-day and this week will just feel that much longer. But it is good because to have a baptism this week we'll need all the time we can get.
Last week was good, I am in a trio with Sister Viana and Sister Erickson. Sister Erickson is from Holiday and graduated from Skyline. She is very cool, she is the same American I was living with in Camaçari, that dances and is in a rock band. She is way way cool and highly spiritual, she has helped us work better.
We are teaching a woman this week but she was not at church on Sunday. She was going to be baptized in the Universal Church but last I knew she was not sure about baptism in the Universal Church anymore because she had heard the gospel. So, I am a bit bugged that she was not at church. We went to get her and she was not at home. But it was a great experience.
Life is good here, I will try to write a better letter explaining why. Oh Mom, if you are worried because you have not gotten a letter for some time, just wait, I was writing every week but I wasn't sending letter every week. I just mailed a letter with letters from 3 or 4 weeks in it. Sorry, I didn’t have money and then the post office was closed.
So, I think that we may have four sisters hear again and that I will be hear with Sister Erickson and two other sisters in the house. That would be supper cool. We need more Sisters to open an area. Maybe Sister Viana will train. Who knows.. so far in the future
Well love you all, have a great week!

happy new year
Hey family,
How are you all? So, I am glad that last week was a good week. I hope everyone is back in there own house and doing well. It is supper cool to have an American around, it's fun to talk about cultural things that I haven’t really been able to explain to my other comps. Man, but we need to be carful that Sister Viana doesn’t feel left out.
I know that you were all praying for a white Christmas but we ended up with a super white new year - happy new year! Everything worked out great last week, it was like the biggest miracle of my life. It's way too big to put in the email so I will be writing you a letter today. Um, but life is way way good I am happy, clearly I am a missionary. Vida está super bem!
Well love from your little sister felt

happy new year
Oi família, tudo bem?
It was sure good to talk to you all. Well, I was not quite trunky on Friday, Saturday or Sunday day because I was running super hard to get all our numbers, find new people, and teach more people. Sunday night after the week was done I was just a bit trunky I think too because it was transfers and well, I just have 4 of those left. Whoot whoot!!
The big news is that I am going to have an american companion. Sister Erickson is coming, we are going to be in trio!!! Whoot whoot! This will be the best trio ever.
Also lost all my leaders; my DL and ZL! The area had 4 elders and got completely whitewashed. So now Elders Lucas and Roatinsky will be my DL and ZL. It should be fun.
Well, I think that is it for this email and well, have a great week.
love you all,

Opa
Dear Family,
So this week was great. I felt your prayers of love and support. You are all so great and I am happy that I am so blessed with such a great family, in-laws and out-laws, everyone!
This week... bem, we don’t have anything as far as baptisms but we have some really great investigators that are sincerely seeking the truth. One Pedro Paulo was at work (it was his day off) and I went there to get him to go to church and he was like, "My boss called me to work." I was like, "Well, you said you would go with us to church." Then his boss came in and was like, "go with them and say a prayer for me there in that Mormon church of yours." It was such a great moment in my life. And Pedrinho loved it, he said that he wanted to stop smoking and everything. We'll help him, he also needs to learn some other things but he felt the spirit at church. And he is a great young man!
The other investigator, Umberlam, is a man that has many, many questions but I think we will be able to respond to all the questions that he has. Probably, we are the only church with answers to the questions he has, he wants to understand Eccl 9:4-5 which is talking how the dead know nothing. It’s the scripture the JW´s use for there plan of salvation-which is not very just-but it's fine because it's against what Jesus Christ taught. I love the story of Lazara and the rich man!
Shoot family, it may be a problem talking to you on Christmas, I use to practice English with Americans at least once a week but right now, I am not.
Love you all,
Have a very merry Christmas it’s the best time of the year,
Love your little sister felt
